Casting a moment in time. Using snow as the other half of this wax cast creates a memory of what has now melted and is gone forever.

rockite | rockite+wax | Wax+Rockite

Cast in three layers. The first is 100% rockite. The second 60% rockite + 40% wax. The third 30% rockite + 70% wax. The appearance between layers differs slightly, but the notable change is in the weight of each layer and the disparate balance created as the gradient changes.
